You're just paying for less content than the console equivalent.įinally, we're missing stages that were released in certain packs, the Aizuchi stage, which came with Naotora and the Attack on Titan stage which came with the AoT DLC pack (no longer purchasable due to the license expiring) were missing for the same reasons as the graphical effects and costume damage. And what's more is they don't even include the alternate costumes in those packs as another slot. Plus, packs with Costume changes/Costume damage don't even have that feature on steam because we don't have the DX11 version running the Soft Engine like the current gen consoles do. On Steam, we're missing the outfit catalogs that the console versions have which means that your opponents online can't even see your outfits you spent tons of money on. Really the Outfit pack DLC's are just bonuses, they don't add anything of worth, especially not for the price. On Steam there are only the packs with no Season passes, so that means we miss out on the free outfits they came with and also it makes purchasing everything way more expensive. In total there are 1368 costumes among 36 characters including all DLC. In total there are 7 Season Passes (at $90 each) with around 100 outfits in each. The DLC situation there looks even more insane because you have the option to buy individual outfits, the entire packs and plus there are Season Passes with all the content.
